You have a crappy day, or you say something you shouldn't have to someone you know won't keep it to themselves. It seems sometimes like every day has one of those moment, and it permeates your mind, your attitude, and your life. You come home from work and it's all you can talk about. You lay down at night and think about how someone did you wrong, or what choice you should have made.
I'm such a victim (to use the term "victim" loosely) of it. And in the last few months, I've come to realize that if all people hear come out of my mouth is negative, than all they know of me is negativity. But here's the thing- I'm not a negative person! I'm really not. It's just so easy to look at what you don't like, what you want to change, and what you wish was different. What you can't control. But just like every day has one of those Debbie Downer moments, every day is full of things we love.
So, here we go. I'm going to find one thing in every day that I adore. Something that brightens my day, makes me happy, or fosters contentment. So out with the bad, and on with the good!
